San Antonio Road Trip
It seems that last minute road trips are becoming a habit. On May 27 my family along with my godparents went to San Antonio. In San Antonio we visited SeaWorld, The historic market square, and The Riverwalk. We left on Friday night, made a quick stop to Buc-ee’s like all Texans do. After 3-4 hours we finally arrived at our hotel.
The hotel we stayed in was the Quinta inn. Our room was next door to my godparents. The hotel was sea themed. The beds were very comfortable. It was only 11-15 min away from SeaWorld.
On Saturday May 28 we went to Sea World. The best ticket/pass to get if your going for the weekend is the “ 3 day pass” which we got. ALWAYS ALWAYS! Check the weather before going on a trip! The 3 day pass includes SeaWorld and Aquatica ( the water park) the day we went it was raining so we didn’t go to Aquatica. Our first stop was to take my godsister to get wet at the Sesame Street theme water play area. Then we went to go see the sea lions. After that we went to eat.
There was a lot of food. They had different cultured food. We stopped at the Italian one. I got a bacon cheeseburger. Afterwards I got these buffalo ranch fries that were so delicious. I recommend them. If you get the SeaWorld cup it’s a great deal because you get free refills during your visit. We walked around to settle in the food.
We walked around to settle in the food. The first ride we got on was “Wave Breaker: The rescue coaster”. I liked it because it was so fast. “Rio loco” was the next ride it was a smooth ride it also has water on it so you might want to take extra clothes, we were still wet from the rain that had stopped a few minutes ago. Our last ride was “ Journey to Atlantis”, I thought my heart was going to come out of my body. We left Seaworld at 8 pm went to the hotel and fell asleep.
The next morning we packed our things and put them in the car. We drove to The Historic Market Square. It was really full. I went to go look in the market with my twin and mom. They had a lot of stuff from Mexico such as jewelry, clothes, house items, decor, etc.
For lunch we ate at “ Viva Villa” I got tacos al pastor with pineapple. I never had pineapple in my tacos but they were delicious. We walked some more and headed to the river walk.
